Mel Kolstad is a self-taught artist and is constantly learning. Her love of vintage ephemera is what first led her to creating art; since then she's discovered the joys of printmaking, as well as the wonders of what a sewing machine can do when combined with paper. She is also thrilled to be a certified papermaker with Arnold Grummer, Inc.
Mel's work can be seen in galleries around Fond du Lac and every third Friday for Tour the Town Art Walk; the Gallery & Frame Shop, Fond du Lac, WI; and on her blog, Ephemeraology.
