You can sew it, collage it, cut it up in (unfrayable) strips, paint it, stitch on it - it's durable and fun!

Demonstrated how to make paper using Arnold Grummer Paper Making supplies and recycled materials for Prairie Fest 2012.

In connection with Money Smart Week at the Fond du Lac Public Library, I presented this seminar to show how easy (and cheap!) it is to make fun art projects using items you already have in your home.

Was the keynote speaker of the Fond du Lac Genealogy Society's November meeting - showed examples of how to utilize one's family's ephemera to create one-of-a-kind keepsakes

Taught the attendees of the Friends of Dard Hunter Midwest Conference (hand paper-makers) the ins and outs of ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)

In this workshop I showed how to collage using the most basic of ephemera - typed letters, old ledgers, receipts, bills - all that mundane stuff - and make something beautiful.

This workshop consisted of three groups of 18 kids, who had about 40 minutes to make one or two ATCs. It was the boys who had the most fun with this segment of their day!

For this workshop I taught about 10 kids how to make collaged ATCs using items from my own stash. They really seemed to enjoy themselves!
